Today, we’re excited to launch and announce Outpatient App 3.0 – a major step forward in our mission to modernize healthcare operations across the Department of War and US Air Force military medical readiness programs. This release is focused on three things that matter most to our partners: readiness visibility, operational control, and intelligent automation.
Over the past five years, Outpatient App has built an approved, fully secure, end-to-end medical compliance and workflow automation platform designed to eliminate inefficiencies across complex health systems.
Today, the Outpatient Platform consists of seven integrated product modules, all connected through a unified reporting and analytics dashboard. Together, they address one central mission:

Over the past 5 years, Outpatient App has developed an approved, fully secure, comprehensive medical compliance tracking system. Today, there are 7 separate product module systems all connected within the Outpatient Platform, plus a Reporting Dashboard adaptable to each of them.
The Outpatient App team is excited to attend the 2025 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS), taking place August 25–28 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee.
This annual four-day event—hosted by the Defense Health Agency (DHA)—brings together government, military, and industry leaders in health IT. Outpatient is presenting the new Readiness Scheduling System (RISS) during the Day 1 Air Force Service Day Agenda. We will also be demoing the system at Booth #322 all through the week.
Leading up to the DHITS 2025 Conference later this month, Outpatient is announcing several “Firsts” as a Trusted Partner for Air Force Medical and the Military Health System. All related to Service Member Readiness compliance, Outpatient App has been working with a number of sites who currently use the Readiness Scheduling System (RISS).

MacDill Air Force Base is the next AFB Installation leading the way in digital transformation by implementing the Outpatient App for self-scheduling Periodic Health Assessments (PHA) and Occupational Health Exams (OHE). This innovative approach started at Travis AFB with the 60th Medical Group and has shown vast improvements streamlining the medical readiness process for service members, reducing administrative workload while improving efficiency and compliance.
