Outpatient App is a Digital Health Workflow Automation Platform for military health systems, commercial health systems, and families. The core technology is a coordination and collaboration system to schedule, track, notify and report on any type of medical task or healthcare process.
It enables an array of features built with a dynamic checklist structure that can be adapted to any health tracking category. Basic features include scheduling, messaging, task assignments, automatic notifications, and updates all inside a simple, easy-to-use interface. It’s private, secure, HIPAA compliant, and NIST Assessed in the DoD SPRS.
This webpage highlights several Feature Modules that address specific areas of need within the US Military. Each Feature Module was co-developed (or proposed to) in partnership with US Air Force Installations and Medical Groups. Combined together as one overall platform, Outpatient App is an elegant, easy to use and integratable telehealth system to address many solution gaps or challenges within the Defense Health process.

Each person in the system has a defined view based on their job. Airmen see what they need to do and who is involved helping them get it done. UDM’s and Med Staff see the member deployers and activities assigned to them. Commanders see the overview of their Squadron and any red flags needing attention.

This system is accessible on any connected device – desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone. It is entirely interchangeable as well, meaning each user can choose whichever device type fits their work situation.

Schedule lab appointments and pregnancy tests with reminders so that airmen deployments aren't held up. Includes real-time base level reporting that highlights missing pink sheet activities.
Medical Staff creates appointments for Deployment-Related Health Assessments and UDMs and Commanders know if and when Airmen have completed them.
