Outpatient’s Appointment Scheduling System for Military Healthcare

Traditionally, scheduling military health appointments could be a complicated task, requiring coordination across different departments, units, and personnel.

Medical staff must navigate a hurdle of administrative requirements, while unit deployment managers (UDMs) and commanders need to ensure that service members receive timely care. The process often involves multiple phone calls, emails, and paperwork, leading to potential miscommunications, scheduling conflicts, and delays in care.

The Outpatient App centralizes and automates this process, allowing medical staff, unit deployment managers (UDMs), commanders, and service members to schedule, track, and manage appointments in a single unified platform.

Medical Staff creates appointments and Commanders know if and when Airmen have completed them.

The Outpatient scheduling system supports readiness by centralizing and automating all health-related appointments in military healthcare. 

Audiograms
Audiograms are a critical part of the Periodic Health Assessment (PHA), particularly for personnel exposed to high noise levels, such as in combat or aviation environments.  Outpatient simplifies audiogram scheduling by coordinating hearing tests seamlessly with all personnel.

Whether they have an account with Outpatient App or not, they can request a Time Slot for a Fly or Non-Fly PHA. They simply request a time, fill out a quick form and then that time slot will show up on the Admin’s Dashboard.
