The Outpatient App Team is hitting the ground running at HIMSS 2023 in Chicago. We’re there Tuesday and Wednesday April 18 – 19 in the Windy City. HIMSS is one of the largest health information and technology events of the year.
Last week, Outpatient App went to San Antonio for the OPMED Symposium. This conference features Military Health System (MHS) leaders from across all sections of the DoD as well major technology vendor partners.
We will be at the 2023 OPMED Symposium from March 28th to the 29th in San Antonio, Texas. This will be the 5th Annual Operational Medicine Symposium & Technology Showcase.
Our team just recently attended the AMSUS Annual Meeting outside Washington, DC. This conference is one of the largest gatherings of government healthcare leaders, bringing together professionals from across all segments to discuss goals, trends, and innovations.
We will be at the 2023 AMSUS Annual Meeting from February 13th to the 16th in National Harbor, Maryland. This year’s theme is “Healthcare Collaboration: Meeting the Challenges of Today and Tomorrow”.

June 15th, 2020 — San Francisco, California — Outpatient, Inc. is pleased to announce it has been awarded a U.S. Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract through AFWERX and the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) to advance the usage and development of Telehealth and automated medical monitoring within the Air Force Medical Services (AFMS) and specific Military Treatment Facilities (MTF).
AFWERX was established in 2017 by the Secretary of the Air Force. AFWERX is a catalyst for agile Air Force engagement across industry, academia, and non-traditional contributors to create transformative opportunities. The core mission of AFWERX is to improve Air Force capabilities by connecting innovators, simplifying technology transfer and accelerating results.
AFWERX has partnered with the AFRL, a scientific research organization operation by the U.S. Air Force Material Command, to streamline the SBIR process to speed up the experience, broaden the pool of potential applicants, and decrease bureaucratic overhead.
As a Phase I selected contractor, Outpatient is now working with specific Air Force stakeholder customers and is now eligible as a sole source contractor with the U.S. Government.
Outpatient has subsequently been selected for a Phase II Telehealth implementation and more details will be announced soon.
