Earlier this year, our team was heads down developing new Innovative Features and enhancing our platform to benefit all Patients and Medical Staff ( View 2024 Innovations Unveiled ). Now we get to show you the updates   ==>  Next week, Outpatient App heads to Dallas for the 2024 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) August 20 – 22.

DHITS focuses on software technology and modernization within a secure, compliant framework. The Outpatient App team has dedicated significant time and resources to enhancing product scalability, stability, and cybersecurity. Equally important and impactful is the efficiency gained and overall ease of use of the platform. It has already proven to save on the order of 10,000 man hours per year per installation or clinic. Bringing innovation and modernization in a secure manner is the critical goal here.

We collaborate closely with the Military Health System (MHS) and Defense Health Agency (DHA), including specific installations, to implement and refine our solutions. This effort includes working with major partners, including Leidos, Amazon (AWS), and UiPath, where we collaborate on current projects and prepare for future implementations.

The DHITS three-day symposium is a vital platform for knowledge sharing, fostering innovative ideas, and unveiling exciting new developments within the Military Health System. We will be showcasing our latest developments, including the PHA End to End and Occupational Health Solutions. Come find us during a Refreshment Break or at one of our partner booths.

PHA Part A – The PHA End to End Solution

We recently showcased a prototype of the PHA Part A Questionnaire on mobile devices. The demo was in response to feedback from Military Health leaders who recognized the pressing need to streamline the Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) process. At DHITS, we showcase a fully functional demo of PHA Part A on Mobile – which represents a crucial step toward our vision of a comprehensive end to end solution, providing unprecedented accessibility and efficiency for patients and healthcare providers alike. This collaboration included Military Health leaders and Leidos’ QTC division.

Occupational Health – Admin

Our Occupational Health solution allows for efficient management of shops/departments, requirements, and patient reminders. Patients receive an occupational health summary organized into a user-friendly checklist accessible on desktop or mobile. They can download and submit documents related to requirements and self-schedule appointments for Questionnaires, X-Rays, Optometry, Labs, Immunizations, ECGs, Audiograms, and Physical Exams directly from their home dashboard.
