Today, we’re excited to launch and announce Outpatient App 3.0 – a major step forward in our mission to modernize healthcare operations across the Department of War and US Air Force military medical readiness programs. This release is focused on three things that matter most to our partners: readiness visibility, operational control, and intelligent automation.
The Outpatient App team will be in San Antonio, Texas for the 2026 Operational Medicine Symposium & Technology Showcase (OPMED), taking place March 17–18, 2026 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
With increasing importance and focus on Readiness compliance and efficiency, OPMED is the perfect place to show how Outpatient App is helping modernize medical operations at scale – using proven, production-ready technology in use today, not pilot concepts. The newest product we will showcase is the AI ASSIST which guides Service Members due for medical appointments.This year as usual, we’ll focus on key areas where Outpatient App is leading innovation in practical settings. Outpatient is improving military health accessibility and digital transformation, while also highlighting the importance of cybersecurity compliance.
The Outpatient App team is heading to Washington, DC for the 2026 AMSUS Annual Meeting, taking place March 2–5, 2026 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. AMSUS remains one of the most important annual gatherings for Federal and Military Health leadership, bringing together the Military Health System (MHS), Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA), Health & Human Services (HHS), and industry partners supporting federal healthcare.
This year as usual, we’ll focus on key areas where Outpatient App is leading innovation in practical settings. Here are two examples – Cybersecurity and Service Member Readiness. Outpatient is improving military health accessibility and digital transformation, while also highlighting the importance of cybersecurity compliance.

New Readiness Innovation Scheduling Solution

MacDill Air Force Base is the next AFB Installation leading the way in digital transformation by implementing the Outpatient App for self-scheduling Periodic Health Assessments (PHA) and Occupational Health Exams (OHE). This innovative approach started at Travis AFB with the 60th Medical Group and has shown vast improvements streamlining the medical readiness process for service members, reducing administrative workload while improving efficiency and compliance.

It’s cliche to say, this year is moving fast. It’s also hectic and exciting. It seems everyone in the digital health market is somehow participating in a rapidly changing cross-section between patients demanding direct access to manage their care and health systems trying to answer with better, easier systems.
This is a good thing. Demand is driving a bit of chaos, and better solutions will evolve.
